Erewash is a district in Derbyshire, England. According to the UK government, as of mid-2020, Erewash had a population of approximately 116,000 people and covered an area of 80 square miles. Thus, the population density of Erewash was around 1,450 people per square mile. The district includes the towns of Ilkeston, Long Eaton, and Sandiacre, as well as several smaller villages and hamlets. Erewash is located in the East Midlands region of England and is bordered by the districts of Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales, and South Derbyshire, as well as the city of Nottingham.
